Written & Video Submissions Form

By submitting content to Dear Black Woman Magazine, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Ownership and Usage Rights

   • All articles, videos, stories, or submissions become the exclusive property of Dear Black Woman Magazine upon submission.

   • Dear Black Woman Magazine reserves the right to edit, adapt, publish, distribute, and use the content for marketing, promotional purposes, and publication in any format, including print, digital, and social media platforms, without further compensation or notification.

   • By submitting written content, photographs, audio, video recordings, or any other materials to Dear Black Woman Media, you acknowledge and agree that your submission is voluntary and provided without expectation of financial compensation, royalties, or other remuneration. You understand and accept that all submissions become the property of Dear Black Woman Media for editorial, promotional, and commercial use.

2. Originality and Prior Publication

   • You affirm that the content you submit is original and your own work, or that you have the appropriate rights and permissions to submit the content for publication.

   • You further affirm that any submitted work has not been previously published.

3. Contributor Responsibility

   • Contributors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not infringe upon the rights of any third parties, including copyright or intellectual property rights.

   • Dear Black Woman Magazine is not liable for any legal issues arising from the publication of submitted content.

4. Media Release Clause

   By participating in any event, interview, photo or video shoot, or by submitting materials to Dear Black Woman Media, you grant full permission for the use of your name, voice, image, likeness, photographs, video, and audio recordings in any and all media formats now known or developed in the future. This includes but is not limited to use in the Dear Black Woman magazine, social media platforms, websites, digital publications, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials. You waive any rights of inspection or approval and release Dear Black Woman Media, its affiliates, partners, and licensees from any claims arising out of the use of such media.
