For young Black women considering entrepreneurship, Noushky’s message is simple: Value your happiness as much as your accomplishments. She urges women to challenge the notion that stability must come at the expense of personal fulfillment. “Many of us are raised to endure toxic environments for the sake of financial security,” she says. “But prioritizing your well-being is just as important.”
Additionally, she emphasizes the importance of starting with a solid legal and financial foundation. “Get your business properly registered from day one. Avoid unnecessary loans until you establish a steady flow of income. And never underestimate the power of networking.”
