Dear Black Woman From Tiffany Lawrence

Tiffany Lawrence

Dear Black Woman,

I see you—your strength, your burdens, your boundless love. I see how you move through this world, whether with grace, fire, or exhaustion. And no matter how you show up today, know this—you are enough.

As a mother, I understand the weight of nurturing and protecting. As a doula, I've witnessed the sacred power you hold in your body, voice, and spirit. As a businesswoman, I know the sacrifices, late nights, and doubts of building from the ground up. You give so much, often forgetting to receive. But sis, you deserve to receive. Love, rest, joy, and ease—all of it belongs to you.

You are more than what you produce or give. Your worth is inherent. You deserve spaces where your voice is heard, your beauty celebrated, and your softness embraced.

Today, I won’t tell you to be strong—you’ve been strong long enough. Be held. Be nurtured. Be loved as fiercely as you love others. The world may say you must carry it all, but you don’t. You deserve softness, ease, and to be poured into.

So take a deep breath. Take up space. Speak your truth. Ask for help. Rest without guilt. Love yourself as deeply as you love others.

I see you. I honor you. I love you.

With all my heart,

Tiffany Lawrence
