Dear Black Woman From LaTanya Orr

LaTanya Orr

Dear Black Woman,

Sis, I see you. I see your resilience, your vision, and the fire in your spirit that refuses to be dimmed. I see the way you show up—building, leading, nurturing, and dreaming, all while carrying the weight of expectations, both spoken and unspoken. I see the sacrifices you’ve made and the quiet prayers you’ve whispered, hoping that one day, all of this will pay off.

But can I remind you of something? You are not just the builder; you are the masterpiece. You are not just the visionary; you are the vision. You are worthy—not just because of what you create, but because of who you are.

I know what it means to chase dreams so fiercely that you forget to rest. To pour into others and leave your own cup dry. To be so committed to the grind that you lose sight of the grace. But here’s what I’ve learned: success is not just about how much you do; it’s about how deeply you align with your purpose.

Sis, it’s time to claim your space. Not just in business, but in life. You were not meant to walk this journey alone. You were made to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

That’s why I’m inviting you to stand in your power—not just as a business owner, but as a FoundHER. A woman who builds, yes, but also a woman who thrives. A woman who chooses collaboration over competition, abundance over scarcity, and legacy over limitation. A woman who understands that success is not just about making money, but about making impact.

So here’s what I want you to know:

 • Your dreams are valid. The ideas stirring in your heart are not random; they are divine. Trust them.

 • You don’t have to do it alone. There is a tribe of sisters ready to uplift, support, and walk this journey with you. Find them.

 • You are more than enough. You don’t have to prove your worth by overextending yourself. Rest, replenish, and allow yourself to receive as much as you give.

Dear Black Woman, the world needs what only you can offer. Step forward boldly. Stand in your brilliance. And know that no matter where you are in your journey, you are already worthy.

I see you, sis. I celebrate you. And I am rooting for you—always.

With love and solidarity,

LaTanya Orr

P.S. Lord, I lift up my sister in this season of her journey. Remind her that she is divinely positioned, purposefully equipped, and fully capable of the vision You’ve placed in her heart. May she walk in confidence, trust in Your timing, and know that she is never alone. Surround her with love, wisdom, and the right people to uplift her along the way. Let her steps be guided by faith and her heart be anchored in peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
